14 out of every 1,000 kids in Kentucky have experienced some form of abuse and neglect. CASA of Lexington is constantly working to support those kids. One CASA volunteer is doing that by bringing color to some of life’s darkest circumstances.

Delaney Marie Thomas planned a butterfly release vigil at The Launch Pad in Prescott to honor the lives lost the Florida massacre. On June 24, 2016, community members gathered at Granite Creek Park to release butterflies, symbolizing hope and resilience.
